Project Rat Race

This prototype was developed as part of my masters course. It focuses on the concept of small scale with an large scope – implementing as many features and mechanics as possible within a limited space.

The game is a simple one-versus-one 2D experience in which a piece of cheese spawns randomly on the map. Players race to gather it, and the player with the most cheese when the timer ends wins the round. Mouse traps also spawn around the map, immobilizing players for a few seconds and allowing the opponent to gain an advantage.
